Skulls of Heaven Releases

Featured Distro Items

Bruce Carkiss - Where's my silver pinecone

   CDR (23 Productions) $8.00

Joy! It's the wonder twins of antique technology and backwoods drunken clatter, hailing from East Troy, Wisconsin. This disc is recorded at the old abandoned school house, and it is about 50 minutes of total chaos, garbage in, Bruce Carkiss out. That's Dave and Greg, fine Wisconsin Noise!!!

Bruce Carkiss - SLAUGTER HAUS definitive edition

   cdr (skulls) $8.00

Locked up in the Blood Shed, at least an hour and a half away from the nearest town in southern Wisconsin, these two creeps are the ultimate in redneck psycho electronics and rural industrial mayhem. This is easily one of thee most sick and brutal Power Electronics albums ever, not that you can even squeeze the scope of this record into any typical genre. There is no chance these two dudes have ever heard of the bullshit in your CMIPOD, they are just keeping it real and seriously fucking shit up. Yet, their destructive experiments somehow resulted in four years worth of disturbing and often brilliant sonic debris. Bruce Carkiss released 3 albums and 2 eps, all of which they self-released using whatever packaging materials they could find, often this lead to extremely small editions of beautiful and very personal hand-crafted releases. Of course all of these were quickly given away to close friends of the band and it has been nearly impossible to locate Bruce Carkiss music until now. Here we have released a collection of some their greatest works, excerpted and compiled by Clay Ruby, which we hope to keep in print a little longer than the originals. At times, this sounds like the home movies of the kind of people you city folk would never imagine existed. This is pure raw American grit. Bruce Carkiss are skinny midwestern boys with shotguns and damaged depth perception and they decided to destroy several giant speakers, piles of antique recording equipment, and at least one 4x4 pickup truck. They literally terrorized themselves and everyone around them for over 4 years and this cdr collects the best of the fruits of their great labor. Truly fine Wisconsin Noise. ((limited to 77, first 23 come in slime green jewel cases))

Burial Hex - in girum imus nocte et consumimur igni

   cdr () $8.00

Grinding modular dreams of living circuits wailing in the dark. Private meditations on analog synthesis and astral dementia.

Burial Hex - Initiations - CD

   CD (Aurora Borealis) $12.00

"Initiations", the debut recording for Aurora Borealis, is a lengthy proposition. Clocking in at one hour, thirteen minutes, it represents a journey, a metaphysical odyssey of uncertain outcome. From the psycho-religious clamour of 'Will to the chapel' with its jihadic cries, through to the somnambulant, subterranean oscillations of 'Eight pentacles', the way ahead is far from clear, the atmosphere claustrophobic and threatening. 'The river of Los' showcases a new breadth of vision for Burial Hex with layers of undulating analogue synth and gentle percussion, an opiate addled take on the horror electronics hinted at previously, and perhaps an indication of things to come. This long track takes the listener on a river journey, part Apocalypse Now!, part Orpheus in the Underworld, submerged in Carpenter's dense Fog, slow moving discomfort and ague. The album ends with the half speed collisions, static miasma and white noise squawl of 'Bo -II- Ne', the listener deposited on shores unknown, prostrate at the feet of the infinite mystery. Burial Hex has surpassed all expectation with "Initiations": Kneel, o ye acolytes, before an astral-industrial opus of vast depth and occult magnitude. CD in printed card packaging with spine, with two inserts, in poly bag.

Burial Hex - Cult Cassettes III

   cdr (skulls) $8.00

More rare and out-of-print Burial Hex, this volume features : "Thin Hand of Orula" cassette, split with The Mumber Toes, and the split with Skin Graft.. An hour of black meditations, unsilent inner demons and cosmic revelations.

Continuing on with this series of rare and out-of-print Burial Hex, this volumes collects: "Reaping the Keep" (from field/power comp), "Sede Vacante" (from the split with Oath), "Cunt Oracle" (from Total Gape comp), "Chapter Seven" (from the split with Joshua Norton Cabal), and "Delirium Tremens" (from 404 Fatal Error comp). Nearly an hour of grey ambient, tortured power electronics, organ meditations and astral synthesis.

Burial Hex - MaHaBone

   2xcdr (skulls) $14.00

Making way for the unconquerable Brothers of Dobrzyn, MaHaBone compiles 4 massive compositions along with several smaller pieces and is truly an epic double album of reclusive analog fetish and cryptic occult voyage. Using ancient modular synth, homemade oscillators, altered organ, reverb tanks, metal frame, damaged effects and chthonic invokation to create dark meditations in electronic pathworking and explorative divination through additive synthesis.::. this is by far thee most bloody sacrifice. Horror Electronics in the twilight of the Kali Yuga. Light a candle and sharpen your blade.

Burial Hex - Cult Cassettes

   cdr (skulls) $8.00

Burial Hex released 4 EPs and one split on Cult Cassettes, all of which sold out within days of our last update. Not wanting this material to disappear so soon, we have collected and reissued all 4 EPs: Curses of the Earth, Goy Godal, Trinity Position and the Felon Wind. Spanning from black void noise to numb ambient to emotional power electronics this cdr represents the many stages of development in the formative years of the Hexen. True Horror.

Burial Hex - bagirwa hymn

   LP (VON archives) $12.00

From the stunning Von Archives series by Carlos Casas and Nico Vascellari, "Bagirwa Hymn" by Burial Hex. Murky synth explorations emerge between spiritualist ceremony and greyscale environmental noise.

Burial Hex / Mumber Toes - Revenge, Exilarch, Revenge

   cdr (skulls) $8.00

Mumber Toes creates a piece using all Burial Hex sounds and Burial Hex does the same with Mumber Toes sounds. Much like their split cassette, this cdr remains in deeply blackened atmospheric territories. Mumber Toes decomposes his source material into a decrepit dungeon hymn. Burial Hex retorts with some delirious and grueling black mutant grime. MidWest Horror Electronics.
